How to install your eSIM

Installing your SIMOVO eSIM is quick and straightforward. After purchase, you'll receive a QR code and installation link by email. Follow the steps for your device below.

1 Purchase your SIMOVO plan.
2 Open your installation email.
3 Tap the direct install link or scan the QR code.
4 Go to Settings, Mobile Data, Add eSIM.
5 Follow prompts and select eSIM for mobile data.
6 Ensure Data Roaming is enabled for the eSIM.

If you're viewing the email on the same phone, use the install link rather than scanning the QR code.

Yes. Data roaming must be enabled for your SIMOVO eSIM while abroad. This allows it to connect to local partner networks.

SIMOVO eSIMs are data-only. You can make calls and send messages using apps like WhatsApp, FaceTime, Skype or Zoom.

Yes. Most SIMOVO plans support hotspot and tethering, so you can share your data connection with other devices such as a laptop or tablet. Availability can depend on your plan and the local network.

5G is available in selected destinations where local networks support it. Otherwise, your eSIM will connect using 4G or LTE automatically.

Yes. Unlimited plans include a daily amount of high-speed data. After that, data continues at reduced speeds so you remain connected without cut-off.

Once your daily high-speed allowance is used, your data continues at a lower speed until the next 24-hour cycle begins. You will continue to have enough data for emails, messaging and maps.

Streaming, browsing and navigation are supported. Performance depends on your chosen plan and local network conditions.

No. Each eSIM can only be installed on one device and cannot be transferred once activated.

Ensure you are in the destination country, data roaming is enabled, and the eSIM is selected for mobile data. Restart your device. If issues continue, contact support with your ICCID number.

Yes! Simply click the link supplied in the install email to add more data.
